2020: The Alternative Adventure(s)
Well… this wasn’t supposed to happen. I was supposed to be writing about the rugged Alaska wilderness… an adventure with no dog and only two wheels but what happened instead was a really incredible and memorable one. I was supposed to take a sabbatical and head to Alaska on my DRZ400 supermoto bike but coronavirus and the US and Canadian governments had other plans by closing the borders (still closed as I’m writing this in November of 2020).
I feel like I could write a book about this trip as every day was very distinct, and for the first time, I recorded an audio recap of each day to help me remember what was going on besides pictures. If I was to detail all that out here it would be so long no one would ever want to read it all so I’m just going to post the photos for now and call it good but if anyone comments below and wants to see more, maybe I’ll surface the rest of the imagery and all stories behind it.
