Music Capitol of the World (Austin) to Music City (Nashville)

I’ve made this drive in a single day before (multiple times) but luckily we took our time this time (how many times can I say time in one sentence?). We camped and saw some surprisingly bright fall colors in northeastern Texas, made a stop overnight in Tulsa and camped in Missouri for a night before spending a few days in Nashville. Pro Tip: If you are going to spend Thanksgiving anywhere but home make sure you make a dinner reservation. We ended up having a Thanksgiving dinner at the Hard Rock since every other place was booked or closed. Luckily the nightlife was going strong and we ended up having a great time. The Barista Parlor was one of the best breakfast/coffee experiences I’ve ever had. We rented a Fiat 500L and it was the only one I saw during the entire trip until I got back to Austin and saw them everywhere.
