Finally got to a round of OSB Supermoto this weekend! It was a scorcher but I was having so much fun I did as many extra laps as I could before I started to overheat in the 100 degree temps. My head always fills with so many doubts as to why I shouldn’t take these 900+ mile trips for only a few hours on the bike, but something always pushes me to do it anyways and I always come back so glad I decided to go: tired yet completely rejuvenated at the same time. In one weekend (leaving well after sunrise on Saturday and returning Sunday night (a total of 15 hours on the road, 6 hours of sleep, 5 hours of camping and 5 hours at the racetrack probably seems crazy to most… but as soon as I leave town with the windows down and music cranked I already have a huge smile on my face.
